ATABEY (CARIBBEAN GODDESS)

Atabey was a supreme Goddess to the Taíno religion seen in native tribes throughout the Caribbean Islands, Puerto Rico, Haiti, and Cuba. She is worshipped for her influence over fresh water and fertility—with water being all things life. She is believed to be the spirit of lakes, streams, and oceans.

BENTEN (JAPANESE GODDESS)

The symbol of beauty, love, wisdom, arts, good fortune, water, and sea, Benten tamed her husband, who was a dragon, and is often depicted as riding dragons. As a Goddess, she originates in India, being seen in Hindu and Buddhist myths, often depicted with eight arms carrying a sword, a jewel, a bow, an arrow, a wheel, and a key.
